'We will never get back to the way we were': Tension between sisters Kim and Kyle Richards continues to flare on premiere episode of Real Housewives

There was tension between the pair before Kim Richards entered rehab last year to address her alcohol abuse and other problems.
But the strain in the Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star and her sister Kyle's relationship was still extremely evident on the premiere episode of season three of the show on Monday night.
Out of rehab for just a few weeks, the awkwardness between the pair was clear as they attended fellow housewife Lisa Vanderpump's much-anticipated Villa Blanca third anniversary cocktail party.

At the bash, Kyle desperately wanted to talk to her sibling about her daughter Portia's upcoming birthday party, and was clearly eager for Kim to come.
But a reluctant Kim kept using her own plans as a possible reason not to attend.
'What about Saturday, are you going to come?' Kyle asked her at Lisa's bash.

'I may not be able to come... All my kids aren't together all the time and this is an opportunity for me to spend time with them all,' Kim told her.
As Kyle insisted that they must spend time together as a family, Kim butted in and said: 'I am not going to leave all my kids... They may not want to come.'
'I would rather say there is a possibility I won't be there now,' she later told her sister, to which Kyle rolled her eyes, all whilst saying: 'You say you would rather be with your kids... It's fine, it's fine.'
The heated exchange in turn forced the sisters to reveal how they really feel about each other, following their previous well-documented blowouts over Kim's addiction issues.
