Barefaced not chic: Kate Bosworth is almost unrecognisable as she steps out make-up free with lank locks

She's normally coiffed to perfection ready to shoot scenes on screen or step on to the nearest red carpet.
And while she may be a Hollywood star, Kate Bosworth doesn't seem to be able to get away with the barefaced look.
The Superman Returns actress stepped out in New Orleans on Wednesday sporting a completely make-up free face.

But rather than show off her natural beauty it caused Kate to look drawn, while her lank locks also made her look a far cry from her usual glamorous and stunning self.

 

The 29-year-old was taking a break from the set of movie Homefront as she went for a stroll with fiance Michael Polish.
Bosworth dressed down in stonewash jeans tucked into Ugg boots, while she wore a denim jacket over her top.

Showing off her slender frame in the get-up, Kate went grocery shopping to eat some food on a rest from filming.
She was seen munching on an orange as she walked along with Michael, who similarly dressed down for the meet up.
The director opted for a khaki green coat with jeans while he wore a rucksack on his back.

Kate is in Louisiana to film her new movie Homefront, which sees her play a meth addict alongside James Franco, Jason Statham and Winona Ryder. 
Her lover has joined her there.
The two have proved inseparable in recent months, spending every waking moment at one another's side.
Polish joined Kate in Australia when she was contracted to promote a skin care product her down under, and he even makes a short film each month promoting her jewellery business.
