While Lena has won four Emmy nominations for her work on the show, she has also seen a backlash from those who dislike her work.
But that didn't seem to affect the mood as she smiled for the cameras on Wednesday night.

With Season two of Girls scheduled to premiere this Sunday Lena has been busy promoting it.She appeared on the Today show, where she explained: 'If you loved what we were doing last season, we're going to push it further.
'And if you hated what we were doing last season, you're going to hate it even more.'
